Families Co-operate in Unison with the Alzheimer's Patient and their Ongoing Care

by admin on March 2, 2009

It can be said to try and look at Alzheimer’s disease as a “challenge” that you and your family members can try to work through as well as work together for a common purpose and set of goals.  There is safety in “the herd”, as opposed to trying to carry the burden either yourself , or with only a small or smaller grouping.

There can be said to be “safety”  as well as ease in numbers , especially if you are all on the same side – and rowing the boat in unison.

It can be well said , stated and even emphasized that as the disease progresses – especially towards the later stages of Alzheimer’s disease  , that care and care procedures and follow through will become ever more demanding and require more and greater levels of care.  It is easier to work with a group , to go with the flow, rather than to fight against and up the current pushing forward , onward or even try to stay in the same place and grouping so to speak.
